According to Stirling, "We saw a big need for a classy car storage solution, especially one that specialized in the safe storage of luxury and exotic cars." Our objective was to offer continuous maintenance services for the whole term of a car's stay in addition to the highest level of security.

It was a vehicle unlike any other, about half the size of typical cars, with a sleek design and a power plug bloated from the side. Auto Caché proudly showcased this unique find on behalf of its owner at Melbourne’s Motorclassica classic car show in 2022.
This little-known gem is the Volkswagen XL1, engineered to travel an impressive 100 kilometers on just a single liter of fuel. Powered by a tiny 800cc two-cylinder diesel engine and a 5.5 kWh battery, the XL1 boasts an astonishingly low 0.186 drag coefficient, thanks to its lightweight construction and aerodynamic design.
Originally available only in Europe and produced in a limited run of 250 units, it's quite remarkable to find one in Australia.
